These terms apply to all orders placed with Lux Modern Inc. ("LUXMOD", "we", "us") through luxmodhome.com, by email or through a written quote.
Quotes & orders
- Trade and project pricing is provided by written quote and is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- An order is confirmed when we receive your written approval and the required deposit.
- Trade pricing requires an approved LUXMOD Trade Account. Trade approval, trade pricing and sales-tax exemption are reviewed separately; tax exemption applies only after we confirm a valid resale certificate in writing.
Made-to-order & custom pieces
- Dimensions, materials, fabrics, leathers and finishes are confirmed in writing (and, where applicable, by shop drawings or swatches) before production begins.
- Custom and made-to-order items cannot be cancelled, changed or returned once production has been approved.
- Natural materials such as stone, wood veneer and leather vary in grain, color and pattern. Samples are representative, not exact.
- Published sizes and materials are for reference; the written order confirmation prevails.
Payment
In-stock retail orders are paid in full at checkout. Custom, trade and project orders are invoiced per the quote, typically with a deposit at order confirmation and the balance before delivery or pickup.
Shipping, delivery & risk
See our Shipping & Delivery page. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the carrier for retail orders, or as stated in your quote for project orders. Please inspect goods on receipt and report damage within 48 hours.
Returns (in-stock retail items)
Unused in-stock items in original packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery with prior authorization from support@luxmodhome.com. Return shipping and a restocking fee may apply. Custom, made-to-order and clearance items are final sale.
Warranty
LUXMOD furniture carries a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential or specified commercial use. Custom cabinetry carries a 10-year limited warranty on cabinet boxes and construction. The warranty excludes normal wear, fabric and leather wear, misuse, improper installation and damage in transit after delivery.
Intellectual property
LUXMOD designs, photographs, renderings and drawings remain our property and may not be reproduced without written permission.
